I gladly welcome you to my home page. What you are going to find here is an introduction.

My first name is Sakubita, meaning pass byer or someone who is just visiting. My baptism name is Lawrence, of latin origin meaning, Laurel-Crowned, winner. My other name is Paul and my surname is Like.

I am a missionary oblate of Mary Immaculate from the Oblate Delegation of Zambia and currently in the Republic Democratic of Congo where I will continue my theological studies which I started at St. Joseph's Theological Institute. I live in the oblate community at Scolasticat St. Eugène, Kasavubu avenue in Kinshasa.

My home country is Zambia and come from the Western part at Limulunga near the township of Mongu. This is just a simple website to share about myself and my life experience. The interest of making a personal site came in 2004 after Dr. John Mvula introduced me to HTML, the language computers use to display the web pages. I thank him so much for having some time to share his knowledge with me.

From there, I had an opportunity to do a short winter course in HTML in 2004 and another short one in PHP in 2005. So far I have managed to work on Northern Oblate Provonce of South Africa Website and Kenyan Mission Web Page. I also worked hand in hand with Dr. John Mvula and Fidelis Kaiche, OMI, to maintain the Delegation of Zambia Website and I have been working on the Delegation Personnel Page.

I hope you will enjoy every moment you spend visiting this site. I have six main pages at the moment. The first one is the Home Page, where you find this introduction. The second one is My Story, where I have written about myself and a bit about my family. The third one is Photo Gallery, where I have tried to put some pictures together. The fourth one is Articles, where I have some news and reflections. The fifth one is the Contact me, and you can get in touch with me through this page.
